In 1955, not long after he experienced regular success as an entertainer in music and television, country western singer Johnny Bond formed Johnny Bond Publications (dba), home of Red River Songs, Inc. and Vidor Publications, Inc.

Johnny and his friend Tex Ritter joined forces and went on to sign legendary artists Tommy Duncan, Alton & Rabon Delmore, Harlan Howard, Eddie Miller, Freddie Hart, Joe & Roselee Maphis, Larry & Lorrie Collins, Tex Atchison, Tommy Collins, Billy Mize, Cindy Walker, Lefty Frizzell, Merle Travis, Wynn Stewart, Buck Graves, Leroy Mack, Jimmy Wakely, Hank Garland, and many others. Our songs have proved timeless, with interest in our catalog remaining consistent over nearly seven decades.

 

With a renewed interest in authentic traditional country music sweeping the world, we wanted to make the licensing process as easy as possible for those interested in recording/performing, or licensing songs for TV/Film and other media. We also want a place for family, friends, and fans to connect with us, to share their thoughts and experiences with this wonderful era of music.
